1995 Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections at a Scout Camp, Maine
An outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 infections occurred among people who attended a scout camp in Maine. Iceberg lettuce was named as the vehicle in the outbreak. It seemed possible that the lettuce was contaminated by raw hamburger juice.
