2009 Outbreak of Shigellosis Linked to Imported Sugar Snap Peas, Denmark
Sugar snap peas imported from Africa were implicated in an outbreak of Shigella sonnei. Concurrent outbreaks of Shigella, which also implicated sugar snaps peas, occurred in Norway and Finland.
