2005 Outbreak of Norovirus at a Family Banquet, Illinois
A March family dinner at a banquet facility led to a Norovirus outbreak. At least ten attendees became ill with the virus following the meal. An epidemiological investigation could not identify the food exposure responsible for the illnesses, but one food worker tested positive for the same genotype as the case-patients.
