2008 Outbreak of Ciguatera Poisoning Linked to Roi, Hawaii
Two people developed Ciguatera poisoning after eating roi fish in Hawaii. Roi is also known as Blue Spot Grouper or Argus Grouper. Roi fish have often been linked to outbreaks of ciguatera poisoning in Hawaii.
