2011 Outbreak of Vibrio parahaemolyticus Linked to Oysters Harvested in Hood Canal Area 4, Washington
An outbreak of Vibio parahaemolyticus was associated with eating oysters harvested from Hood Canal Area 4 in Washington state. The oysters had been harvested between August 30 and September 19 and were subsequently shipped to 23 states and to China, Indonesia, and Thailand.
