An outbreak of gastroenteritis caused by Norovirus occurred among patrons and staff of a hotel banquet facility in Dayton, Ohio. Illnesses were linked to several events. The initial cases occurred following a wedding reception and computer club conference. Cases of gastroenteritis developed throughout the week among foodhandlers and diners who ate meals served throughout this period. Food workers worked while ill. The original cause of the outbreak was not given.
