2007 Multistate Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections Linked to Interstate Meat Distributors Ground Beef
An outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 infections was detected in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska in August. The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a recall on ground beef processed by Interstate Meat Distributors. The contaminated meat was sold between August 1 and August 11 at retailers in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
