2011 Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 at a Senior Living Facility, Canada
Three people were diagnosed with E. coli O157:H7 after eating meals at a senior living facility in Surrey, British Columbia. Residents of Kiwanis Park Place would gather twice a week for a meal at the independent living facility. Illnesses began after meals served between November 8 and November 14. One person died.
