2012 Outbreak of Norovirus at a Senior Care Facility, South Carolina
A suspected outbreak of Norovirus occurred at the Doyle Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Facility in Oconee County, South Carolina. At least 11 residents had become ill. The facility is owned and run by the Oconee Medical Center. Residents were quarantined and new admissions were halted as a means to control the outbreak.
