A confirmed outbreak of Hepatitis A was linked to swimming in a jacuzzi pool located within a Louisiana camp ground. Ill swimmers were more likely to have swum for more than one hour and to have dipped their heads under water. Because of a cross-connection found between a sewage line and the pool water intake, sewage contamination of pool water seemed likely.
