1984 Outbreak of Norovirus at a High School, Maryland
An outbreak of Norovirus occurred at a Maryland high school. Eating sandwiches prepared in the school cafeteria was associated with illness. The sandwiches consisted of meat and cheese on a bun. Food workers were confirmed to have been infected with Norovirus. One of these workers was suspected to have been the index case that began the outbreak.
