An outbreak of Bacillus cereus infections was associated with eating a meal at Zappos (a workplace, in Sheperdsville, KY) catered by Masterson's catering in Kentucky. The catered buffet had been served to an overnight shift of Zappos staff and was not served at the proper temperature. The specific food vehicle was not identified due to the lack of food samples available for testing. Bacillus cereus was isolated from clinical specimens.
