2002 Outbreak of Norovirus Linked to an Ill Foodhandler, Minnesota
An outbreak of norovirus occurred among patrons of a Mexican restaurant in Minnesota in May 2002. The child of a foodhandler was ill with diarrhea and vomiting days before dining patrons became ill. Stool samples from the child and four patrons were positive for the same strain of norovirus.
