2000 Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections Linked to Ground Beef, Minnesota

Consuming "Brand A" hamburger patties led to three confirmed cases of E. coli O157:H7. The same strain of E. coli O157:H7 was isolated from leftover hamburger patties and from intact packages. There was a recall of 30000 pounds of hamburger.
