1998 Outbreak of Salmonella Heidelberg Infections at a Restaurant, Minnesota
One person was known to have developed Salmonella Heidelberg infections after eating at a Minnesota restaurant. The investigation discovered three food workers infected with Salmonella. Salmonella Heidelberg strain isolated from two of the food workers matched the strain that was isolated from the patron.
