2009 Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections Linked to Prepackaged Lettuce
A multistate outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 was associated with eating pre-packaged lettuce. Seventeen outbreak associated cases were identified. Cases were reported by 4 states. The outbreak resulted in sixteen cases.
