2010 Outbreak of Norovirus at NACCHO's Annual Conference, Tennessee
A confirmed outbreak of Norovirus occurred among attendees of the 2010 NACCHO annual conference. Norovirus was associated with consumption of food items at the conference. The epidemiologic investigation implicated the tortellini vinaigrette pasta salad. The environmental investigation found critical violations including improper food storage and preparation practices.
