An increase in laboratory confirmed cases of cryptosporidiosis was noted in Douglas County, Nebraska. The initial cases were linked to a private club with swimming facilities. Additional case patients reported swimming at another club or at other local pools. Swimmers often swam at multiple pool facilities; swim/dive team meets were held at both clubs A and B. Fecal accidents had been observed at both clubs.
