The Southern Nevada Health District became aware of an outbreak of gastroenteritis among two groups of patrons who had eaten at the same restaurant on October 14. A total of seven diners became ill. Six household contacts of these diners subsequently developed gastroenteritis. Four stool specimens collected from ill persons were positive for norovirus genogroup II. The specific vehicle of infection was not described.
