Passengers onboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line ship "Vision of the Seas" between February 25, 2013 and Mach 8, 2013 became ill during the voyage. The CDC reported that 118 of 1991 passengers and 3 of 764 crew members reported being ill. The predominate symptoms were voimiting and diarrhea. In response to the outbreak Royal Carribbean Cruise Line and the crew aboard the ship increased cleaning and disinfection procedures, made announcements to notify onboard passengers of the outbreak, and made twice daily reports of the illnesses to the CDC Vessel Sanitation Program.
