2012 Outbreak of Norovirus and ETEC Infections Among Passengers Onboard Princess Cruise Ship MV Ruby Princess
The CDC's Vessel Sanitation Program reported an outbreak of norovirus and Enterotoxigenic E. coli infections among passengers onboard the Princess Cruise Ruby Princess in October 2012. In total 149 of 2,971 passengers and 14 of the 1,177 members of the crew reported symptoms of vomiting and/ or diarrhea.
