2013 Outbreak of Norovirus Linked to Nantucket Grill, North Carolina
Health officials said that 41 people reported becoming ill with norovirus after eating food prepared by the Nantucket Grill located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in May 2013. Illnesses occurred among people who ate at the restaurant or who ate food prepared by the Nantucket Grill at a catered event. The first illnesses were reported May 7, 2013. Public health investigators were not able to pinpoint the source of the outbreak.
