2006 Outbreak of Hepatitis A Linked to Spring Water, North Carolina
An outbreak of hepatitis A occurred among persons who visited a farm in western North Carolina and who drank water from the spring. Hepatitis A isolates from human and water samples were identical. No hepatitis A was isolated from farm produce.
