2010 Outbreak of Shiga Toxin E. coli, Michigan

Three children became ill with shiga-toxin producing E. coli after attending the Northwestern Michigan Fair, in Traverse City, Grand Traverse County, Michigan. All visited the fair between August 9 and 13. As of August 25, the source of the infections was not certain, but contact with infected animals was suspected.
