An outbreak of Salmonella Heidelberg occurred in Chaptico, Maryland, among people who attended a church fund-raising dinner. The implicated vehicle was a ham that had been stuffed with kale, cabbage, and spices. The stuffed ham had been purchased from the Chaptico Market and Deli. The deli had obtained the ham from another company. Salmonella was isolated from leftover ham.
