2003 Outbreak of Salmonella Heidelberg at a Restaurant, Wyoming
An outbreak of Salmonella Heidelberg occurred among patrons of a Park County, Wyoming, restaurant. Epidemiologic and laboratory analyses indicated that canned mushrooms, contaminated through food handling practices at the restaurant, were the likely vehicle of transmission. The NORS database also named swiss cheese as a vehicle.
