2009 Outbreak of Norovirus at Pichler's Chicken Annie's Restaurant, Kansas
Six individuals from five different households became ill with vomiting and diarrhea or nausea after eating a meal from the Pichler’s Chicken Annie’s restaurant, in Pittsburg, Kansas. Norovirus was determined to the cause of this outbreak. Ill foodhandlers, food cross contamination, and bare hand contact with food were suggested as potential causes of this outbreak.
