2011 Outbreak of Salmonella Javiana Infections at Quarry Hill Retirement Facility, Maine
An outbreak of Salmonella Javiana infections occurred among residents of the Quarry Hill Retirement Home in Camden, Maine. One resident died and one was hospitalized. The cause of the outbreak was suspected to be foodborne. Quarry Hill is the residence for approximately 150 people.
