2012 Outbreak of Salmonella Infections at Aliano's Ristorante, Illinois
In September 2012 the Kane County Health Department announced an outbreak of Salmonella infections among customers of Aliano's Ristorante located at 90 N. Island Avenue in Batavia, Illinois. As of September 18, 2012 there had been six cases of salmonellosis with a common link to Aliano's Ristorante. One patient was hospitalied. The restaurant was closed and employees were being tested for Salmonella.
