2012 Outbreak of Salmonella Newport Infections at a Care Facility, Nebraska
South Heartland District Health Department and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services reported in outbreak of Salmonella Newport infections associated with the Blue Hill Care Center located in Blue Hill, Nebraska. Twenty one outbreak associated cases were identified. Five people were hospitalized. No one died.
