1985 Outbreak of Campylobacteriois Linked to Drinking Water in Southern Ontario, Canada
An outbreak of Campylobacter jejuni infections occurred in a farming community in southern Ontario. The outbreak occurred when spring run-off and heavy rains led to well water contamination. One conclusion of the investigation was that intensive surveillance of water quality during spring runoff was essential.
