2007 Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections Linked to Beef Purchased at Stew Leonard's Supermarket, New York
Three people from one family were diagnosed with E. coli O157:H7 infections after eating undercooked ground beef that had been purchased from Stew Leonard's supermarket, in Yonkers, New York. The supermarket had purchased beef from two suppliers and also ground beef in its store. The exact source of the contamination was not determined.
