2006 Outbreak of Cryptosporidiosis Linked to Swimming in Recreational Water, Wyoming
Between June and October, an increase in Cryptosporidium infections was noted in Campbell and Crook Counties, Wyoming. The epidemiologic investigation revealed several risk factors that were statistically associated with illness: swimming in any pool, swimming in Keyhole Reservoir, and swimming in the Gillette city pool.
