Sixteen people who attended business meetings held at a private club developed diarrhea. Seven were confirmed to be infected with Cyclospora. A history of eating a berry dessert was associated with a risk of illness. Case patients recalled eating strawberries, but restaurant staff reports were inconsistent concerning the types of berries that were in the dessert.
