2005 Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections at The Boat Shed Restaurant, Washington
Two persons were hospitalized with infections caused by E. coli O157:H7. Both had eaten at The Boat Shed Restaurant on September 10 and had consumed salad ingredients and fresh parsley. The strain of E. coli O157:H7 was common to other concurrent E. coli O157:H7 outbreaks in Washington and Oregon. Fresh parsley from the same Oregon farm was ultimately linked to all of the outbreaks.
