An outbreak of norovirus was suspected and was linked to Trostel's Greenbriar Restaurant, in Johnston, Iowa. This outbreak occurred within several weeks of when nearly 1000 Iowans had become ill with norovirus. The vehicle for this outbreak was given as green salad.
