Firefighters were called to the Delta Delta Delta Sorority House at the University of Michigan when a sudden onset of symptoms caused by Norovirus occurred. Three people were taken to the hospital, but it was unknown whether they were actually admitted to a hospital for care. A shared meal on October 23 was suspected as the source of the virus, although no specific food item was implicated. Person-to-person transmission could have played a role in disease spread.
