2009 Outbreak of Gastrointestinal Illness Among Passengers Onboard Carnival Cruise Line's MV Carnival Liberty
The CDC's Vessel Sanitation Program reported an outbreak of gastrointestinal illness among passengers onboard Carnival Cruise Line's MV Carnival Liberty late April 2009. In total 208 of 3253 passengers and 57 of 1163 crew members reported symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal cramps.
