The CDC's Vessel Sanitation Program reported an outbreak of gastrointestinal illness among passengers onboard Princess Cruises MV Island Princess late April 2009. In total 100 of 1954 passengers and 5 of 894 crew members reported symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramps and fever.
