2010 Outbreak of Gastrointestinal Illness Among Passengers Onboard Royal Caribbean's MV International Jewel of the Seas
The CDC's Vessel Sanitation Program reported an outbreak of unknown etiology among passengers onboard Royal Caribbean's MV International Jewel of the Seas in late February 2010. In total 102 of 2,158 passengers and 14 of 848 crew members reported symptoms of vomiting and/ or diarrhea.
