2002 Outbreak of Norovirus Linked to Wedding Cake Frosting, Massachusetts
Outbreaks of norovirus occurred among wedding guests of weddings served cake by the same local bakery during the weekend of August 26, in Massachusetts. Forty six weddings served the cake. Two bakery employees reported an illness compatible with norovirus. Norovirus was isolated from the stool of one of these employees.
